The studio is a timber A-frame on a lush hillside above Kuta, South Lombok. A highly custom, personalized control room connects to an expansive, 10m high live room — open to the jungle on three sides.
A Nagra IV-S analog recorder, a Roland RE-201 Space Echo, and a rotating collection of vintage strings and local percussion. The neighbours are geckos and monkeys.
I take on a handful of projects a year. What you get is my full attention, in a room that opens onto the jungle on three sides. No assistants, no library cues, no template starting point.
Everything you hear is composed on the spot, to picture, and then produced, mixed and mastered in the same room. Immersed in nature. Three days from greenlight to finalized stereo mix.
One frame at a time. Deep focus.
